There you go. I am in Malta and it’s truly stunning.
I have never experienced such a blend of cultures and languages in any other place I have visited.
So you can understand: they have been colonised (not so far ago) by the English, one of their official is English next to the native Maltese. Being so close to Sicily they speak also Italian, the island exists basically since 12.000 (twelve thousand!!!) years and it was one of the most bombed countries in conflicts/wars ever. Yet, it’s still there, imperfectly perfect, beautiful and intriguing, fabulous and exquisite, raw and welcoming in its own way. I like everything about this tiny glorious island. ❤❤❤
